I added some performance data from my system, 'pollux'. I'd like to make this a proper table, when more data is obtained from more systems. I've also used the VM on a single processor, and there was no significant performance difference. From what I've read about Meep, memory bandwidth is usually more of a performance consideration than CPU speed, and I am going to guess that also means that CPUs with larger caches (Xeon) will be faster.
