Before starting SABRIL, tell your doctor concerning all of your (or your child's) medical problems including depression, mood problems, self-destructive thoughts Bookmarks or actions, any allergy to SABRIL, vision issues, kidney issues, low red blood cell counts (anemia), and any kind of mental or nervous illness.

The Vigabatrin REMS Program is called for by the FDA to ensure notified risk-benefit decisions before launching therapy, and to ensure ideal use vigabatrin while individuals are dealt with. It is not feasible for your healthcare provider to understand when vision loss will take place.

It is suggested that your doctor test your (or your child's) vision prior to or within 4 weeks after beginning SABRIL and at least every 3 months throughout treatment until SABRIL is stopped. If you or your child have any type of side result that bothers you or that does not go away, tell your medical care supplier.

Inform your healthcare provider if you are pregnant or intend to get pregnant. If vision testing can not be done, your healthcare provider might proceed prescribing SABRIL, but will not be able to expect any kind of vision loss. If vision tests are refrained on a regular basis, your doctor may quit prescribing SABRIL for you (or your youngster).
