In Test 3 he reported a force measurement toward "the small end" and later a smaller measurement in the reverse orientation in test 3.1. Modelling

@phaseshift has built a SketchUp model<ref>post by @phaseshift</ref> (File:EM Thruster.skp) of a frustrum based on the estimated Shawyer Flight Thruster dimensions.

@TheTraveller constructed a spreadsheet to model thrust given various design parameters.<ref>Forum post by @TheTraveller</ref> This model was built with some input from Roger Shawyer directly.
